Checking Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
“Company”: MyPrivateParty.com, the provider of silent disco rental services.
“Client”: The person or entity renting the equipment from MyPrivateParty.com.
“Equipment”: Silent disco headphones, transmitters, audio cables, chargers, and all accompanying accessories.
“Agreement”: The rental agreement entered into between the Company and the Client.
2. Booking & Payment
Bookings must be confirmed in writing or via email.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm the booking.
The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 5 days before the rental start date.
All prices are in euros and include VAT, unless stated otherwise.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations 14+ days before the rental date: Full refund minus deposit.
Cancellations between 7 and 13 days before the rental date: 50% of the total rental fee is charged.
Cancellations less than 7 days before the rental date: No refund.
4. Delivery & Collection
Delivery and pick-up times must be scheduled in advance.
The Client must ensure someone is present to receive and return the equipment.
Late returns may incur a €25 per day late fee unless otherwise agreed.
Equipment must be returned in the condition it was received.
5. Use of Equipment
Equipment must be used responsibly and only for its intended purpose.
The Client agrees not to alter, tamper with, or sublet the equipment.
The Client is responsible for volume levels, especially in public or shared spaces.
6. Damage, Loss & Liability
The Client is responsible for the equipment from the time of delivery until collection or return.
Lost, stolen, or damaged equipment will be charged at full replacement value.
MyPrivateParty.com is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from the use or misuse of the equipment.
7. Technical Support
Basic setup instructions will be provided.
The Company will offer remote support where possible during the rental period.
MyPrivateParty.com is not liable for user error, device incompatibility, or technical failures beyond its control.
8. Data Protection (GDPR)
Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the GDPR and Belgian privacy laws.
Client information will only be used for communication, billing, and logistics related to the rental.
9. Force Majeure
MyPrivateParty.com is not liable for delays or failures due to force majeure events, including natural disasters, strikes, power outages, or government restrictions.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Belgium.
Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Brussels.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking with MyPrivateParty.com, the Client acknowledges and accepts these Terms and Conditions in full.
